Memphis Locksmith FAQs

I want 3-4 locks in the office to open using a single key. Can you do that?

Yes, we can. In fact we can show you which locks can be grouped together for rekeying. Take the key that you wish to use to open different locks in your office or in your home so it will be convenient for you.

Is the “Do Not Duplicate” marking on a key enough for controlling key duplication?

No. While we respect the "Do Not Duplicate" marking on a key, it is unfortunate that many discount stores do not. To effectively prevent unauthorized key duplication, a restricted key lock should be used such as Medeco or Keymark Locks.

Why do you recommend locks that seem so expensive?

As an old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Quality products come with a little more expensive price. If you buy quality locks the first time, you won't have to purchase another one in the near future. It will be economical to buy a more expensive, higher quality security hardware.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

Be specific with your request or better yet, call {p} and tell us about the kind of security you want so we can tell you how long the warranty of the specific lock you want installed.

Do I really need to call a locksmith? I think it would be easier install the lock myself.
